El Boqueron Viajero

Nuestras primeras impresiones de Fitur 2012 son muy positivas. En primer lugar, ha sido de gran satisfacción poder acudir al evento acreditados como bloggers de viajes. Las acreditaciones mostraban claramente el nombre de nuestro blog, pudiendo ser identificados claramente. El trabajo de nuestros compañeros de Travel Bloggers Meeting es merecedor de una reseña, por el enorme esfuerzo por profesionalizar nuestro trabajo.

Our first impressions of Fitur 2012 were very positive. In the first place, it was really satisfying to be able to access the event as accredited travel bloggers. The accreditation showed the name of our blog clearly, and we were easily identifiable. The work of our colleagues at Travel Bloggers Meeting is worth mentioning, for their huge effort to make our work more professional.

Con una feria algo más austera que otros años debido a la crisis, cada país, región y empresa han maximizado sus esfuerzos por enseñarnos sus propuestas. Nosotros hemos tomado el primer día para dar una vuelta, situar bien cada lugar y desvirtualizar a algunos con los que hablamos a diario por redes sociales.

With a simpler fair tan other years, due to the economy, each country, región, and business maximized their efforts to show their proposals. We took the first day to look around, situate each place, and de-virtualize some of the contacts that we speak with on a daily basis through the social networks.

Empezamos por el pabellón de Andalucía, que creemos ha sido uno de los triunfadores, invirtiendo mucho en patrocinar las bellezas que esta región tiene que ofrecer. Allí pudimos encontrar información de todas las ciudades y de algunos pueblos, e incluso de El Pimpi (bar castizo malagueño) tenía su pequeño espacio.

We started in the Andalucia pavilion, which we thought was one of the best, as they put a lot of effort into showing off the beauty that this region has to offer. There we could find information about all the major cities and even some small towns. Even El Pimpi (a bar that is pure Málaga) had its own spot.

Tras esto, quisimos dar una vuelta por el pabellón de Norteamérica, Sudamérica, Centroamérica y África. Los primeros han sido muy funcionales, y apenas nos han mostrado nada de lo que allí podemos ver. Sudamérica y Centroamérica sin embargo, han querido ser protagonistas y lo han conseguido. Es donde mejor nos lo hemos pasado y donde más hemos aprendido, pronto Rusko estará allí. África tampoco nos ha llamado la atención en cuanto a despliegue, aunque los parajes que ofrece son encantadores.

After this, we wanted to take a walk around the pavillion with North America, South America, Center America and Africa. The first were very functional, and barely showed anything of what we might see there. South America and Center America, however, wanted to be the star and they definitely succeeded. It is where we spent most time, and where we learned the most- Rusko will be there soon! Africa didn´t really stand out for us, as far as displays, although its stops looked really amazing.

Hemos tenido la ocasión de entrevistar al responsable de turismo de Zimbabue, que nos ha hablado sobre los atractivos, destacando la vida salvaje real y las cataratas Victoria. Asimismo nos ha dicho que es un país totalmente seguro, al nivel de las ciudades europeas y que visitarlo bien nos llevaría unos diez días. El único inconveniente es que no podemos volar directo desde aquí, teniendo que hacer escala en Dubai o Sudáfrica.

We had the chance to interview the representative of tourism for Zimbabwe, who told us about the attractive features of this country, especially the wild life and the Victoria Waterfalls. He told us that it is a totally safe country, with the cities similar to those you might find in Europe and that to visit the country well, you need about ten days in addition to travel time. The only down side is that you cannot fly direct from Spain, you have to transfer in Dubai or South Africa.

Hemos terminado visitando el pabellón donde están casi todas las comunidades autónomas. Especial atención hemos puesto en Asturias, que fue la Rusko Ruta del Verano 2011 y nos ha hecho recordar grandes momentos. Por último, hemos cerrado casi de forma definitiva el destino para la Rusko Ruta del Verano 2012, que nos llevará a recorrer todas las Islas Canarias, ¡ya estamos soñando con ello!

We finished up our visit in the pavillion where almost all the Autonomous Communities were located. We paid special attention to the stand for Asturias, which is where we went for the Rusko Route in Summer 2011 and we remembered what a great time we had there. Lastly, we decided, almost positively, that the destination for the Rusko Route in summer 2012 will take us to the Canary Islands (We are already dreaming about the trip!)
